Me llamo Señorita Colorado.  I have been teaching for 12 years and I still love it! I started my career in 2013 teaching Spanish levels 1 and 2 at Morton High School.  Four years later I decided to broaden my horizons and I moved to Bucharest, Romania where I taught Spanish for 3 years levels 1-4.  During my time in Romania I began to grow an interest in Bilingual Education.  I received my Bilingual Ed. degree in 2017, 3 years after finishing my master's in Spanish literature. I took this new found interest to Málaga, Spain where I taught English for 2 years, before returning to the United States to begin my family.  I am currently engaged (married ;)) and happily living in Peoria, IL.  I am so excited to be teaching at my old high school, Brimfield, where I spent many happy years.  In my free time I enjoy spending time with my dog Cacho, going for walks with my family, reading, and socializing with friends!
